The Mindful Mommy Therapists
I provide online therapy to people residing in New York, South Carolina, and Florida. Online therapy is a form of telehealth or telemedicine, which refers to medical or psychological services that are provided using technology, such as through phone or a video platform.
While I enjoy contributing to psychology in many different ways, therapy is my passion. Therapy, or psychotherapy, is a type of treatment for mental health disorders that focuses on your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.
The goals of therapy generally include reducing your current symptoms, increasing insight into your past and how it affects you today, developing coping skills and tools to deal with stress and other negative emotions, and improving your relationships.
In addition to providing psychotherapy directly to clients, Dr. Guarnotta has also written and been featured in a variety of media, including articles on mental health, parenting, and addiction. She is a contributor to several addiction recovery websites, Choosing Therapy, and GoodRx.
